Duck had a good sleep last night. Let’s just say her site was audited pretty thoroughly and it passed! By morning, Duck was convinced she had decoded the secret numbers of the universe.
She waddled to the duck pond early to tell Crab all about it.
Crab, being the smartest friend she knows, is naturally skeptical. She’s the type to question herself even when she’s had the right answer all along. That level of critical thinking is deeply shelled within her hardheaded exterior.
Crab figured Duck may be still riding a wave of euphoria, seeing those numbers through rose-colored glasses.
Good thing Duck has Crab. She helps keep Duck in check. Keeping her from making a fool of herself, especially on the days when Duck really wanted to.
